Internships are short-term work experiences that allow you to observe and participate in professional environments. They are also a great way to explore how your interests relate to possible careers.

More specifically, internships provide the opportunity to get an inside view of an industry and organization, gain skills, and make professional connections that enhance your network. Internships can clarify your career interests and stand out to employers in your search for a full-time job after graduation.

CCE Alumni Mentorship Program (CAMP)

Summer

The CCE Alumni Mentorship Program (CAMP) provides a unique opportunity to develop key professional and practical skills while also participating in an internship, fellowship, research and/or volunteer opportunity in any field. If you have secured a professional summer opportunity, you can apply to CAMP.

CCE Internships+

Spring

CCE Internships+ partners with employers from a variety of career fields and provides you with a quality internship experience plus early career professional development programming.

Columbia College Summer Funding Program

Summer

The Columbia College Summer Funding Program provides funding to Columbia College students participating in unpaid or low paid summer internships related to their career pursuits and/or academic studies. Eligibility: Columbia College students who have secured an unpaid or low paid summer internship. Please note that certain donors restrict funding to students receiving grant-based financial aid.

The Columbia Engineering Internship Fund (CEIF) provides funding to selected Columbia Engineering students to participate in an unpaid or low-paid engineering summer internships related to their career pursuits and/or academic studies. Eligibility: Columbia Engineering students who have secured an unpaid or low paid summer internship.
