April 6, 2020 - PwC

We are delighted to share that  PricewaterhouseCoopers, Columbia University’s longlasting employer partner, is committed to honoring job agreements with candidates selected for summer internships and entry-level roles while executing necessary adjustments as a response to the Covid19 crisis.

The following is from an email on April 4th from the PwC campus recruiting team and subject to change:

“First and foremost, we’re proud to share that we’re honoring our job commitments and adjusting our intern programs as opposed to cancelling them. We’re doing this because we are committed to putting our people first and continuing to serve our clients.”

necessary Adjustments will include:

Summer interns:

  • PwC Advance interns will have a two-week virtual internship experience beginning in July. Interns will have opportunities to build digital skills that are critical to securing their future. As our commitment to them, all interns will receive full-time offers for 2021 by the end of April.
  • PwC/Strategy& MBA internship will remain the same, but will now start on July 6 and is scheduled to end on August 14, 2020. Interns will work either virtually or in person, depending on the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on our work arrangements at that time.
  • PwC Start interns will have a four-week virtual experience that will take place from July 6 through July 31, 2020. Start interns will have opportunities to learn more about PwC’s lines of service and will learn key tools and digital topics that are driving digitization at PwC. Upon successful completion of the internship, they will receive offers for 2021 Advance internships.

Full-time 2020 hires:

  • PwC will honor all jobs. So that we’re in the best position to give our entry-level new joiners the onboarding and early work experiences we want them to have, we’re reevaluating start dates and will communicate plans by the end of April.
