The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) is a Washington, D.C.-based think tank supporting the Department of Defense. The institute hires PhDs in life sciences and engineering for one of three Research and Development Centers: Systems and Analyses Center, the Science and Technology Policy Institute, and the Center for Communications and Computing. Currently enrolled graduate students and juniors should apply for the Summer Research Associate Program. This is a 10-week project-based internship and is currently posted in LionSHARE.
