The CCE Headshot Photo Booth is easy to use and delivers high-quality professional headshots in a matter of minutes. Visit our office in Uris Hall at any time during operating hours and someone will be available to help you get that perfect shot, no appointment required.
Eligibility:
The Photo Booth may be used by students and alumni of Columbia College, Columbia Engineering (undergraduate level), and School of General Studies.
Access:
The Photo Booth is available in the Front Desk area of the Center for Career Education, located in the 205-207 Suite of Uris Hall. The Photo Booth can be accessed during regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm) when the Center is in regular operations.
Appointments:
Appointments are not taken; use of the Photo Booth is first-come, first-served. Please check in at the Center for Career Education’s Front Desk upon arrival for your photo session. The staff member will confirm your eligibility (via uni and enrollment) and then you will be directed accordingly.

What should I wear?
Since the purpose of the photo session is to provide you with professional headshots for LinkedIn and other related uses, you are encouraged to dress professionally, following guidelines for business casual or business professional attire. The important elements are a shirt or blouse and jacket. Darker colored outer layers are encouraged due to the need for sufficient contrast with the portrait background. Where can I get dressed?
If you are bringing professional attire with you for your photo session rather than wearing it to Uris, you can utilize the Center’s dressing room, which is adjacent to the Clothing Closet in the 208-215 Suite of Uris Hall.
How much does it cost?
There is no fee to use this service.
Can I retake or edit my photos?
Photos are edited right on the touch screen during the photo session, but additional edits can be done on your own once the photos are received via email. During your session, you can retake your photo until you have three headshots you are satisfied with. If you are unhappy with your set of photos once they are delivered to your email, you can return for another photo session in the future.
How many photos will I receive?
Each photo session yields three (3) headshots. You can take additional photos in a future photo session.
How long does it take?
A typical photo session takes from 2-5 minutes.
