Summer Mentorship Volunteer

We appreciate your interest in applying to be a mentor for one of CCE’s Summer Internship Programs. Please fill out the information below. We will use your answers to guide the matching process between alumni and student interns and will share excerpts with your mentee if matched.

Please note that there are two different programs CCE operates that you could serve as a mentor for. We will confirm which program once we match you with a student. The mentorship commitment is the same for both.

The Columbia Experience Overseas Program (CEO) offers Columbia students a high quality, 8-week summer internship experiences in a diverse array of industries through alumni and employer partnerships.  As globalization increases, international cultural exposure and work experiences become more important to successfully navigating and meeting the demands of the changing work environment.  All students in the program are paired with alumni mentors in the following cities: Amman,  Hong Kong, London, Mumbai, Seoul, and Singapore. CEO Internships will be held remotely in summer 2021.

What level of interaction are you looking for with your mentee?
What mode of interaction would your prefer with your mentee?
(i.e. strategies on navigating an industry based on belonging to a particular identity, job searching in a challenging economy, adapting to a "Plan B", etc.)

Please note that we do our best to make thoughtful matches between mentors and mentees. We have seen strong mentor/mentee relationships develop based on general career related guidance.
